Try This

1) Chant Aum and meditate (knowing that the universe is in the self)
when you can hear the sound inside of you without uttering it, and are conscious of your knowledge that the universe is in the self,
2) Think of Krishna - images of him and his characteristics
3) Chant the mahamantra in your mind - hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare
4) Go to the gym and get onto a treadmill, or go for a walk. Match your steps to the meter of the mantra.

Be conscious of all 4 simultaneously - hear the aum inside of you, the mahamantra in your mind synchronized with your steps, and think of krishna

What will this process achieve? Having read your blog I am confused as to what your philosophy is. For example you state: knowing that the universe is in the self.

Are you saying that the universe is inside us? If this is so, how is it possible? If the universe is inside does, would that not make us God, but if we are God, why are we under the control of the material energy?

It seems like you speak philiosophy, but really it doesn't make much sense. Which holy teachers have you studied under in order to arrive at your realisations?

Just a few points from a very confused jiva.

Hi confused jiva,

realization is action with awareness. it relates to experience (with awareness)and cannot be taught, mentally conceptualized, or learned through 'study'

we become what we identify with. the first step to realization is in identifying with your true self, which is all encompassing. if you think you are controlled by external factors, you are. if you think there is nothing external to you, and know that the universe is but a part of you, how can you be controlled by 'external' forces or energies?

the process is not to be executed with a motive for 'achievement' for that would defeat the process itself. actions are to be performed for their own sake and not with predefined motive.

To tell you frankly Arjun, even I have difficulty believing there is nothing external to me even though I can logically see that all my perceptions are within my body. But then even identifying with the body is supposed to be erroneous. I've not been able to find a way out of this error.
