Actions without motive or attachment

Apart from meditation, where we observe our thoughts while being detached from them, long walks or exercise, without motives/goals are excellent. When we walk, or exercise, not with a goal in mind(losing a particular number of calories etc), but just for the sake of walking/exercising, we are building up a habit of performing actions without motives or attachment to our actions. This habit slowly becomes a part of our attitude towards actions, and makes karma yoga come to us naturally without effort.

Even setting up a session for reflection or self-analysis in a goal oriented manner is premeditated by motive. These sessions should occur spontaneously. With spontaneity, comes awareness, and bliss.
