In the highest Samadhi, all actions = Karma Yoga

"In the highest samadhi one is in the highest consciousness but, at the same time, one is able to work in the gross physical world. One does the usual things that an ordinary human being does. But in the inmost recesses of the heart one is surcharged with divine illumination. One becomes the Lord and Master of Reality, can go at his sweet will to the highest and then come down to the earth-consciousness to manifest."

When one reaches the highest samadhi, every action (Karma) that is performed is Karma Yoga. Here, Karma Yoga is not a path towards the highest goal, but a manifestation of attainment of the highest goal.

"The actions of a great man are an inspiration to others."

Selfless action by a person who has attained the highest samadhi is not characterized just by the action, but by a higher dimension which is a function of the action, as well as the awareness of the person performing the action. Such a person is an inpiration for others. Others need not emulate the actions of such a person, but the actions of such a person awaken the light within others, and inspire them to also become like the person. This form of Karma Yoga that is inspired by a karma yogi who has attained the highest samadhi is called Inspired Karma Yoga. Inspired Karma Yoga is a lot more effective than the non-inspired mere selfless service/action, that is traditionally referred to as Karma Yoga.

The effectiveness of inspired karma yoga is due to the simple principle that we are characterized by our thoughts, awareness and actions. When we are inspired by a person who has reached the highest samadhi, the inspiration enables us to act with the same level of awareness and thoughts as the inspirational person, for as long as we are inspired. Hence we move closer to the state attained by the person. The state is a higher dimension which manifests as awareness, thoughts and actions in the world. By constantly matching the manifestation, we move towards attaining the state. The state is the highest samadhi, which is permanent and does not require inspiration from any other source.
